About Maria:
A couple of years ago Maria felt like something was missing, but she couldn’t quite understand what it was. She didn’t even know who she really was anymore. At the age of 36 she embarked on a solo journey to herself, leaving her old safe life to travel the world with almost all her belongings fitting in her backpack. She dedicated that journey to feeling again who she actually is and what she really need. Since then she dedicated her time to educating herself in the field of emotional wellbeing, training as a 600 h certified Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga teacher, as well as further eductions in Meditation, Trauma sensitive somatic practices, Burnout treatment & prevention, Philosophie, Sound healing, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

“For years I was looking for happiness in all the different places: travelling around the world, meeting great people, changing careers and so on.  In the society I grew up in, the suggested path is to look outside for what brings you joy.

But once I started diving deeper into Yoga philosophy, I understood that what I am looking for can only be found within me. Everything that I’ve been looking for was always there, I just couldn’t see it. For me to stay connected to this wisdom means to practise yoga.”
